Sound Studies is an interactive software artwork that generates a graphic environment from input sound, effectively transposing sound to a perceptive visual context. When experienced, the work produces a sensorial stimulation that is even more intense than listening to the sound alone. The resulting animations create the basis for a different kind of sound perception, as the abstract aural properties are bonded to an abstract visualization.
