“i” the being is an abstract experimental animation achieving a steady wavelength between Osho’s philosophy of how being takes over the non-being in this materialistic world and the theory of how spiral formations depict life and growth. This mixed media creation also explores the energy generated by combining acrylic paintings, Maya animation and textured audio. The animated spiral formations depict a pattern of human emotions, experiences, thoughts and behaviors through movement, scale, and shape. In spite of the stylized, simplified or symbolic forms, these vibrant canvases maintain a recognizable reference to the sorts of emotions that constitute human experience. The aim is to take the viewer on a unique visual journey of life as seen from my perspective and to show how “i” the being overcomes fears and embraces discoveries, from which every other being entangled in this mundane world desires to escape. |
