Brett Battey is a senior lecturer in the Music Technology and Innovation Research Group at De Montfort University, Leicester (UK). He studied Electronic and Computer Music at Oberlin Conservatory, receiving his BFA in 1990, followed by a Masters of Music in Music Composition, and a Doctor of Musical Arts in Music Composition from the University of Washington School of Music. Battey was also the recipient of many awards, fellowships and residencies, including a Fulbright Fellowship to India (2001-2002). Battey is most interested in the integration of music and images. |
